A : Hey, I need to talk to you about something.
B : I'm all ears.
A : I don't think I can work with John anymore. He makes my blood boil.
B : I know what you mean. Sometimes I think he's dead from the neck up.

A : 저기, 나 너한테 할 말이 있어.
B : 나 잘 듣고 있으니깐 말해봐.
A : 난 John이랑 더 이상 일 할 수 없을 것 같아. 그는 항상 나를 열 받게 만들어.
B : 나도 네 말이 무슨 말인지 알아. 그는 머리가 텅 빈 사람인 것 같아. 

▶ (be) all ears ‘잘 듣다/귀를 기울이다’라는 뜻입니다. 몸 전체를 다 덮을 만큼 큰 귀를 생각해 보세요^^
Eager to hear something, listening attentively. Just imagine that ears covered your entire body. You would be a very good listener.

▶ make one's blood boil 직역해서 ‘누군가의 피를 끓게 만들다’ 라는 것을 생각해보면 쉽게 이해가 되시죠? 보통, 우리 말로 ‘혈압 오르게 하다’ 즉, ‘ ~를 격분하게 하다/매우 화가 나게 만들다’라는 뜻입니다.
make one very angry. This expression is about four hundred years old, but it's exact origin is unknown. When you get extremely angry, you often feel hot and your skin becomes red. How angry would you be if your blood were to get so hot that it boiled? 

▶ dead from the neck up 목 아래는 살아 있는데 목 위가 죽었다는 표현은 바로 '머리가 텅 빈'이란 뜻입니다. 같은 표현으로는 ‘dead above ears’가 있습니다. 1901년대부터 사용되던 말입니다.
to be very stupid. This is an allusion to a person whose body is still alive, but whose brain is dead.
