A : The team manager. And before you knew it, they were at each other's throats.
B : There has always been some bad blood between them.

A : 내가 사무실 안으로 들어갔을 때, John이 목청껏 소릴 지르고 있었어.
B : 누구한테?
A : 그 팀 매니저한테. 그리고 금방(당신 알기 전에) 그들이 서로 심하게 다투었어.
B : 늘 항상 예전부터 둘 사이에는 불협화음이 있었지.

▶ at the top of one`s lungs '아주 큰 소리로, 목청껏'
in one's loudest voice; yelling

▶ at each other's throats '심하게 다투다'라는 뜻입니다. 보통 사람과 다투게 되면 고개를 쳐들고 핏대를 높이게 되는 것 아시죠?
fighting or arguing. This idiom, which is an allusion to the vivid image of two people trying to strangle each other, is often applied to less physical forms of disagreement.

▶ bad blood (between people) '사람들간의 증오/이간질/불화관계'라는 뜻입니다. 한편, 어떤 것을 ‘in cold blood’ 상태로 행동했다는 표현이 있는데요, 아무런 감정 없이 무자비하게 행동했다는 뜻입니다. 그래서 ‘Cold-blooded killer(냉혹한 킬러)’처럼 형용사로 쓸 수 있다.
Anger or hostility between two people or groups of people. This idiom dates back to the early 1800's and is based on the old association with blood and emotion, especially anger. This is usually used to describe a long-felt hatred because of things that happened in the past.
