■ I've been feeling a little rundown lately so I went to the hospital to get a check-up.
  요즘 내가 몸이 안 좋아서 병원에 가서 건강 검진을 받았어.

B : You're a brave man. Most people are avoiding hospitals like the plague.
A : Well, they drew some blood and ran some tests. They said I'm as fit as a fiddle.
B : That's good. I'm glad to hear that you got a clean bill of health.

A : 요즘 내가 몸이 안 좋아서 병원에 가서 건강 검진을 받았어.
B : 너 정말 대단하다. 많은 사람들이 병원을 전염병 피하듯이 피하고 있어.
A : 병원에서 피를 뽑고 검진을 했는데, 나보고 건강하다고 하더라고.
B : 다행이다. 너가 건강하다고 진단 받게 되서 정말 기뻐!

▶ feel run down 이 표현은 과로를 하거나 잠이 부족해서 오는 피곤함으로 인해서 ‘기운이 없다/에너지가 다 고갈되다’라는 의미입니다. 
This expression is usually used to describe someone who is fatigued due to overwork or lack of sleep.

▶ Avoid (something) like the plague ‘(뭔가를) 기를 쓰고 피해가다’라는 의미입니다. 이것은 어떤 사람이나 물건을 두려워 하거나 싫어할 때 쓰이는 표현입니다.
to ignore or keep away from someone or something totally.  It is usually said about someone or something you fear or do not like.

▶ run some tests 의료검진을 하다.
to do some medical tests on a patient

▶ as fit as a fiddle ‘컨디션이 매우 좋아/ 건강하여’라는 의미입니다. Fiddle 보통 바이올린과 같은 현악기입니다. 악기 중에서도 줄이 달려 있는 악기들은 세심한 관기로 좋은 상태를 유지 해줘야 하듯이 사람이 건강이 아주 잘 관리 되어 있는 상태를 현악기에 비유한 말입니다.
to be healthy and physically fit. A `fiddle' is another name for the violin. As with most musical instruments, violins require frequent cleaning and maintenance to remain in good condition. Because violins need to be in good condition to create the proper sounds, a person's health began being directly compared with that of their instruments.

▶ a clean bill of health 의사가 당신에게 a clean bill of health 준다면, 그것은 그가 당신의 건강을 체크를 했고 당신이 아주 좋은 상태인 것을 알게 되었다는 것을 의미합니다. 그래서 ‘건강함을 보여주는 증명서’정도 되겠네요.
If a doctor gives you a clean bill of health, it means that he has examined you and found you to be in good condition.
